Say “South Padre” and most people picture spring break. We know a different island — the quiet one, for families and Winter Texans who come when the crowds don’t. At the right time of year it’s all sea breeze, slow mornings, and a Gulf that goes on forever.

Casa Sirena is our home here, so we’ve had years to learn the island’s soft side. Here’s where we send the people we love.

### Something sweet

### Nature & a little wonder

### For the teens, or a rainy day

### On the Fourth

Come for the Fourth of July if you can: fireworks over the bay, the whole island out to watch.
