I grew up in Austin, Texas in a big Mexican-American family that ran a restaurant and never stopped feeding people. My grandmother Maria prayed the rosary, grew roses, and taught me that love is something you cultivate from the inside out. My mother and father showed us that a family that keeps coming together can be soft, strong, silly and unstoppable at once.
Most of what I believe about family, faith, and hospitality, I learned at their tables — and it's what we hope you feel at ours.
